Heroes.

Everybody has somebody.

First, I have my wonderful mother. She is an inspiration to my every day. Somehow, she manages her own business, is training for a half-marathon, manages church duties, home duties, and raises children. How? I have no idea. My mother is one of the sweetest and smartest women I know - with more respect and love for people than I could possibly begin to have. She has taught me so much about growing up, and becoming a woman I can be proud of.

My father is an incredible example to me. I have never met another person better with people than my him. He is my knight in shining armor, and a beacon to me in everything I do. He demands respect, and gives it back tenfold. He somehow manages to remember names - everyone's names - and has taught me so much about friends and self-respect. Because of him, I am the strong and independent person I am today. My father taught me how to be fun, and how to enjoy the company of those around me, without sacrificing myself or my beliefs. That, and that alone, is the one thing I can't possibly thank him enough for.

My cousin, Kendra, will forever amaze me. She is a strong, independent, and successful woman. Not only is she successful in her career, but in her personal goals as well. She knows what she wants, and has one of the strongest work ethics I know. She's also not afraid to tell you what she's thinking which I adore. There have been many conversations between the two of us that have helped me stay on track... in every aspect of my life. She's a wonderful motivator.

Gimme a blurb about your heroes.

  1. I think your parents and my parents should hang out and do superhuman things together.
